What this site knows about you.

If you just read the site

Nothing is asked of you and nothing is stored about you beyond the ordinary. Like every website, the server that delivers these pages keeps standard technical logs, which include your IP address, browser type, and which pages were requested. That happens automatically as part of how the internet works, it's used for security and for keeping the site online, and it isn't linked to you as a person.

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, so Cloudflare processes those requests. Their handling is covered by their own privacy policy.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. There is no advertising network, no tracking pixel, no Facebook pixel, and no cross-site profiling. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Cloudflare may set a security cookie to identify malicious traffic. That one is functional, not commercial.

If you subscribe

The signup form asks for one thing: an email address. That's the only personal information this site ever collects deliberately.

It's used for exactly two purposes. To send you the free guide you signed up for, and to send roughly one email a week with new posts. That's the whole list.

Your address is stored with the email service used to send the newsletter, which processes it on this site's behalf and keeps the standard delivery data any newsletter tool keeps, such as whether an email was opened or a link was clicked.

What doesn't happen to it

• It is never sold. Not to anyone, for any amount.
• It is never rented, traded, or handed to a "partner brand."
• It is not used to build an advertising profile of you.
• You will not be added to a second list you didn't ask for.

Getting out

Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click, no questions, no "are you sure" page designed to make you give up.

If you'd rather your address were deleted entirely rather than just unsubscribed, email hello@simpurely.com and say so. You can also ask what's stored about you, and you'll get a straight answer. Depending on where you live you may have a legal right to both of those things, and you'll get them either way.

Links to other places

Posts link out to retailers, brands, and other sites. Once you follow one of those links you're on someone else's property and their privacy policy applies, not this one. That includes any affiliate links, which are covered separately on the affiliate disclosure page.

Children

This site is written for adults and isn't directed at children. No information is knowingly collected from anyone under 13.

When this changes

If what's collected ever changes, this page changes first, and the date at the bottom moves. If the change is significant and you're on the list, you'll be told in an email rather than left to notice a silently edited page.
